Fixed drum powder mixers are industrial powder blender systems where the mixing container remains permanently mounted on the machine. This design is particularly suitable for applications where the same material is mixed continuously.
Alphie fixed drum mixers operate using a three dimensional tumbling motion. The drum simultaneously rotates and inverts, continuously changing the orientation of the material inside the container. This motion produces homogeneous mixing similar to turbula type powder mixers.
Because the mixing drum is not removable, the powder is loaded directly into the drum and discharged through the bottom outlet after mixing.
These mixers are particularly suitable for large capacity powder blending applications and continuous industrial production.
